Once users deposit money, the platforms switch to high-stakes games and manipulate outcomes using backend algorithms. Withdrawals are delayed or denied, leaving victims with losses they can’t report legally.
Cybersecurity experts are advising users to avoid gambling platforms accessed via VPNs and to remain skeptical of high-return promotions. The government is also exploring VPN regulation to combat this growing threat.
