Once users deposit money, they are shown fake wins to encourage continued play. Eventually, when large sums are at stake, the platforms stop responding or block accounts.
Family members back home often remain unaware of these losses until workers return home in debt. Consular offices are being urged to launch awareness campaigns and report such platforms operating within Gulf jurisdictions.
