In Bangladesh, users have reported sudden financial thefts and unauthorized mobile wallet transfers after installing such apps. Some are disguised as prediction games or live match streaming services.
Authorities advise downloading only from trusted app stores and avoiding gambling apps that ask for sensitive permissions like SMS access or call logs.
