Victims often pay via mobile wallets for daily tips or VIP access to “insider information.” However, predictions either lose or are taken from public sources, leaving users with heavy losses.
Several Telegram and Facebook groups involved in these scams have been shut down, but new ones quickly replace them. Law enforcement advises avoiding any platform that charges for betting tips.
